All Off-Topic material, most notably ftatech's famous political discussion forum, will be moved to a new site:
www.round-table.us. There's nothing wrong with off-topic sections, but the general concensus is that those sections have taken on a life of their own and should be given their own space. Currently, the off-topic forums are reply-only (or soon will be). You will be able to reply to existing threads, but not begin new ones.
Round-table.us is in its infancy and we ask that you be patient as we work out the kinks. We hope to make that site as entertaining and engaging as it is on ftatech. You will need to register at round table, but for now the email verification has been turned off.
One change that I'm sure will be welcome is an anything-goes shout box. Discussing politics in the shoutbox here has sort of been a no-no, but not at round table. Recently, our google ads have been taken down partially due to our porn forum. We will be opening a porn forum at round table, and since there will be no google ads, that won't be an issue.
